Adam Killermann is a local real estate agent in Charleston, South Carolina. With his extensive background and experience, he has become known as Charleston’s Real Estate Guy. Adam takes pride in his “Client-First Philosophy” which is why he came to Project Assistant to redesign his website to improve functionality and provide a better user experience for his clients.
We wanted to redesign Adam’s website to showcase the beauty of living in Charleston as well as he does. We kept things simple, focusing on imagery and information-filled writeups of different locations. The homepage features a slider at the top which cycles through videos and photos featuring the picturesque spots and charming people of this Lowcountry city. For a little personal touch and due to Adam’s decade of personal branding, we incorporated his logo and tagline into the header of the website. The entire site is responsive so his clients can view it on any device.
Charleston’s Real Estate Guy website is built on a content management system with a quite a few cool features for the every day real estate broker looking to leverage search marketing. Our team innovated a custom post type that allows Adam to manage his ‘Featured Listings’ as well as automatically display listings from the Internet Data Exchange (IDX), a 3rd party database for real estate properties. We integrated IDX into the site so that Adam could easily pull data from it.
We utilized the best IDX plugin available to provide users the ability to search and browse available properties in Adam’s Live Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data. This allows search engines to index property data which gives him a massive increase in potential sales volume. This integration features Google Maps and so much more! Additional features we added to the site include the full width MLS search box, nifty weather widget and a mortgage calculator.
For marketing, optimized the site for local search, created social media accounts and set up email campaigns for Adam. Basically everything he needed to dominate the local real estate scene! We’ve enjoyed working with Adam and he in turn received a lot of positive feedback after we overhauled his website.
