Traviloo is an e-commerce marketing & promotion platform for small & medium businesses around Iloilo City, Philippines. The business is owned by young entrepreneur Tracy Fontanillas. Traviloo aims to be the place where businesses meet their customers in an online world. It will offer the chance for customers to purchase discounted vouchers & deals online anywhere and anytime with a mobile & user friendly website. The business is still under developments and aims to launch soon.
Traviloo chose Project Assistant to help create the face for their brand. We met with Tracy and talked about what she had in mind and what message she wanted her logo to portray. We then took all her ideas and went straight to the drawing board.
Tracy wanted to focus on a fluid design and the colors white, dark grey and salmon pink. She also wanted the logo signify travel and the City of Iloilo. Taking all of this into account, we came up with several options for Tracy to chose from and the one she picked was a plane with a heart inside it made up of a single line. We used a plane because it’s commonly associated with travel. The heart was placed inside the plane because Iloilo City is known as “The City of Love”. We also did some text styling for the company’s name wherein the letter “a” looked like a map location pin.
Once the design was approved, we proceeded to create the final files and version of the logo and drafted Tracy’s business card. The new Traviloo logo is now displayed on the company’s Facebook Page. We look forward to working with Tracy on Traviloo again in the future.
